Support and diagnostics

Codex Model Bridge is an independent local compatibility component for compatible Codex development workflows. It requires the compatible host and the official stock backend already installed on the Windows device.

Before reporting a problem

Confirm that the compatible host and official backend start normally without the bridge.
Open the Codex Model Bridge control application and use its diagnostics or bridge-test action.
Confirm that the selected provider endpoint and model identifier are correct. Never paste a password, API key, access token, private prompt, or private file into a support request.
Record the bridge version, Windows version, exact error text, and the smallest reproduction that does not contain sensitive data.

Uninstall

Remove the Codex Model Bridge package from Windows Settings or the Start menu's app management controls. Remove any provider configuration you no longer need after uninstalling.
